i know i know…
it’s been days, even weeks, since i last wrote.. apologies.. i’ve been way busy and somewhat sad at times.. it sucks not knowing anything.. anything at all, but as time has gone by I am feeling more comfortable in the kitchen..
have i told you how much i hate prix fixe dinners? the appetizers come in at the same time as desserts at some point and it’s the most stressful part of the day.
i screwed up a recipe the other day. i put too much oil.. i’m hoping i can fix it by adding more potatoes.. god the anxiety.. i hate not being perfect at something.
well, i’ve been graduated to working the apps and desserts station by myself during service.. it feels good, but i still get nervous every day.. i’m hoping that goes away..
anyhoo.. all i really want to know is what the hell is going on in gossip girl?!?!?! julia! update me!
On a more important note, i finally got to have lunch with some friends! was so nice to catch up with them.. i miss the people from work.. it’s just a different crowd.. ladies if you are available there is a lovely young man who loves video games, makes a decent living.. and.. AND.. plays the guitar and sings in a band!!!! get ready ladies he’s now on the market on ready for action…
