restaurant week hell
do people really know what restaurant week is all about? it’s purely promotion.. My first day on the job. Saturday night. Thank god there were 4 of us in the kitchen.. 120 covers in one night… people of course do not order wine or even a soda.. unbelievable.. help the local restaurants out for cryin’ out loud! you’re already getting an awesome deal on a meal!
well enough bitching because work was fucking awesome.. the adrenalin rush sets in and you just focus to get into a rhythm with the servers and the other cooks. Sunday was a double shift, but i made it through with only a few errors.. 6 burnt toast. oops. okay maybe it got backed up a bit too, but daniel of course helped me out and everything got out okay. 1 margarita and a glass of wine later I was done.. the next day I woke up with a headache and sore muscles. i will be the most buffed up asian in the hood by the end of this month.. woohoo!
